MONTE VISTA — Metropolis Council held a conference on Thursday, Jan. 5. An announcement was built at the meeting that Loren Howard was resigning from the Scheduling and Zoning committee and there would be a vacant posture posted on the Town of Monte Vista web site, for fascinated parties.
Recreation Director for the Town of Monte Vista, Dervin Taylor made a presentation on the addition of new basketball courtroom floors to the Outcalt Party and Conference at SLV Ski Hi Elaborate.
In a previous council meeting, it was talked about that the basketball court flooring that experienced been bought for the intricate, have been cumbersome, and heavy and would call for an great amount of manpower to lay down and pull back again up for sporting situations at the advanced. The council elected to set the courts up for sale and to order new courts. Taylor gave a presentation on the new courts to display council members what the new flooring would look like and talked about the progress.
